Canton of Wyndriche Meeting & Combat Practice Sunday, September 7, 2014

The Canton of Wyndriche will be holding an open meeting on Sunday, September 7th, 2014 at the Unity College gymnasium & activities building in Unity, Maine. This meeting is open to everyone – it is not required that you wear garb (most people wear everyday street clothing). The meeting starts at 1:00 pm.

The discussion items are relatively short but not unweighty. (1). Incipiency – Discussion of how we move to complete the process. (2). Activity coordination – workshops, A&S nights, practices, etc.

Directly after the meeting adult practices for heavy list and rapier combat will be held at or near the Unity College gymnasium (perhaps outside if the weather is nice). Combat practice will begin about 2:00 pm (ish) right after the meeting.

Join the Barony of Endewearde and the Friends of Fort Knox at the Medieval Tournament on Saturday, September 6, 2014

The Society for Creative Anachronism’s Most Glorious and Esteemed Barony of Endewearde will be presenting a spectacular display of combat prowess as well as demonstrations of the gentler arts at Fort Knox historic state park in Prospect, Maine on Saturday, September 6th, 2014. To learn more about the schedule of activities for the day please visit the Medieval Tournament webpage.

Unity College Medieval Reenactment club starts its new academic year

The Unity College Medieval Reenactment Club will be holding a club demo and staffing an information table starting at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 on the Unity College campus. SCA volunteers who are interested in helping support club activities can coordinate with the club president, James.
