Officer Positions In Endewearde

Greetings from the Seneschal!

I am happy to announce that Lord Thomas del Marr has decided to take up the mantle of Chancellor Minor for our great Barony.  I have no doubt that his excitement for youth activities will bring great joy to the children of Endewearde and those that visit our events. Secondly, I am saddened to say that Lord Nero Camulus has decided to step down from his position as chronicler.  I am officially posting that the position of chronicler is open and excited to have already heard from a member of our populace who is interested.  If anyone else is interested as well please let me know.

In Service to the Crown,

Saruca Hatun bint Lazari

The Baron welcomed people to the event and spoke of the man for whom the event was named, Jehan Fitzalan and how he and others who had gone from us were missed, and he asked for a moment of silence.

The Baron then asked the family of Jehan Fitzalan to come into court and presented them with the small sword Jehan had made as a prize many years ago.

Conner MacScamus O’Neal was invited into court and presented the Baron with the sword which he had made which had been commissioned as a prize for the baronial rapier champion.

Gryffydd Abernathy was called into court and made chief steward for the Baron and Baroness.

Calvius Nero, event steward, was called upon to announce the winners of the various tourneys, and he thanked all the marshals and Bryn Millar, our web minister for their work. He then called forth Thomas de Marre, who announced that the Youth Combat prize of a pool noodle went to Seth of Wyndhaven. Hrafn Is-augu announced that Thomas de Winterwade was the winner of the armored combat tourney. Thomas received a length of rattan. Hrafn also called forth William of Wyndhaven to present a rattan sword to the newest authorized fighter, Murtagh O’Kelly.

Radbod of Endewearde announced that Sir Ivan Ulrickson had won the right to carry the prize cloak for a year and a day for besting all others in the rapier tourney. Izzo won the right to carry the buckler made by Syr Cedric of Thanet for winning the cut and thrust tournament.

Jordan Harvey, Endewearde’s rapier champion, called forth Radbod to accept the sword Scamus had made to carry as regalia for winning the baronial rapier championship. He also gave Radbod  a knife made by Master Gregory Finche.

The Baron made William of Wyndhaven and Seamus na Coille Aosda ambassadors to Middleground and instructed them to offer the forces of Endewearde to whomever they thought best. He then announced that, although it was a tough decision, Endewearde would fight with Malagentia at Great Northeastern War.

The Baron once again thanked everyone for coming, and reminded them of Queen Avelina’s words at her coronation – we are all community, and we should all look for ways to help. He encouraged everyone to find one thing to do to help break down. Court then closed.
