Volunteer Opportunities at the Endewearde Hunt

October 6 – 9, 2017
Friday – Monday

There is the opportunity to teach classes at the Endewearde Hunt. Teachers please use the Teacher Sign Up Form before Saturday, September 30th. Contact Mistress Agatha Wanderer with any questions.

Calling all archery marshals and MiTs! Please sign up for you archery shifts for the Hunt! Lady Admiranda Howard would like to see as many shifts covered before the event as possible, so that she can fill in holes where needed. This way, no one spends all their time marshaling, and no time shooting!

Please consider signing up for two shifts if you can. There will be two woods walks this year.

Also, please note that there are no shifts available on Sunday from 11-12, and after 2. The range will close at these times for Thrown Weapons Champions and Archery Champions respectively.

Please use the link Endewearde Hunt Archery Shifts

Hrefna Hrodbjortsdottir writes: Good day, people of Endewearde, Malagentia and points east and west! The cooler mornings, ripening harvest, and hints of red in leaves is signaling a change of seasons – summer into autumn. With autumn comes The Hunt. There are many wonderful things to do and learn, and many fine people to meet and renew conversations with at this event. I am asking for some of you to gift others with your smiling face and welcoming words – please sign up for a chance to sit troll, and share this gift with friends, old and new!

Site Preparation – Endewearde Hunt (Newburgh, Maine): Saturday, September 2, 2017

Manuscript image of person directing workers.

Venue: 2910 Western Ave, Newburgh, ME

We know that Labor Day weekend often makes it difficult to balance family and hobby weekend plans. With the Endewearde fall events coming up, however, this was the most reasonable day to get stuff done on at the event site before the Endewearde Baronial Armored Combat Championship and Endewearde Hunt events in September and October.

We will meet on site at 9:30 AM. Please bring your work gloves and any tools you may have. There is much work to be done! A couple of trees have fallen and another tree is in poor shape and should be pulled down. If you have an open trailer we can haul brush with, please consider bringing it.

Please bring your lunch. We can start up the fire pit if needed.

Also remember there will be no bathrooms on site, so bring a roll of toilet paper!

Remember many hands make light work, the more the merrier!

Illuminated manuscript image of two women upon a blue sky background comprised of concentric circles of varying shades of blue. The women are encircled by yellow stars around the outer edge of the sky. A gray crescent moon and a yellow sun are in the upper portion of the blue sky.
