As per her Majesty’s announcement, all EK events are cancelled through June 30, 2020. This event has been rescheduled with Fort Knox for September 2020.
Once again we must raise our battle cries and ready ourselves for war. The time has come to rally our forces and band together at our stronghold. At Fort Knox we will hold a medieval village encampment and demonstrate our arts and martial prowess.
This public demo will have fencing and heavy list tournaments. Youth combat is TBA. Artisans, please come prepared to demonstrate your artistic work. Musicians and dancers are welcome. More details will come.
Artisans are allowed to sell their work to both participants and the public, but must maintain the village appearance and actively demonstrate the skills used to create the items they are selling–if you have any questions about this, please contact the autocrat (see below).
As a Maine State Park, this is a dry site.
Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and picked up after. Please keep in mind that the public also brings their dogs and plan accordingly.
There will be no dayboard or feast provided.
There is no entry fee for this event.
Parking will be off site.
Site Opens: 5pm Friday September 11
