Start off the new year in the Barony of Endewearde

NorthTowerThe beginning of a new year offers many opportunities to socialize and exercise in the Grand Barony of Endewearde.

Raise your fitness level by taking advantage of the free weekly baronial armed combat sessions held on Sundays from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Bangor Housing Authority gymnasium at 161 Davis Road in Bangor, Maine (see driving directions). This practice offers Adult Heavy List and Adult Rapier Combat as well as Youth Combat and Youth Fencing. Each practice is run by different combat marshals so please check the Endewearde Master Calendar (our official schedule) or glance at the public Endewearde facebook group for last minute cancellations or updates on specific combat activities for the evening.

Lady Yzabel Du Perche offers space at her shop on 40 Florida Avenue, Bangor, ME from 6:00-9:00 pm. Please bring the project you are working on or drop in to hang out and ask questions on how to get started on your next medieval inspired project. There is also an SCA project night held at the home of Lord Thomas de Marr & Leijsbet van Catwiic in Bar Harbor. They are happy to receive guests from 6:00-9:00 pm on Mondays throughout the month of January 2016. Please refer to the entry in the Endewearde Master Calendar for contact information to obtain driving directions to their home.

More opportunities to socialize, learn new skills and expand your appreciation of the many aspects of life in centuries past will be added to the Endewearde Master Calendar in 2016.
