Maine SCA Groups

For many years the state of Maine has had prominent Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) groups in its northern, central, coastal and southern regions. There has been rapid growth in these and other areas of the state as more people are discovering and participating in medieval activities. Smaller SCA groups are being formed under the auspices of a larger sponsoring branch in their region. What follows is a list of all current and developing SCA groups in Maine.

Some of these groups have official websites, some are primarily using social media forums, such as Facebook, and others are simply starting as groups of friends interested in medieval activities. There may be more opportunities to attend social gatherings, workshops and official or unofficial events in Maine than you realized.
