Pennsic Archery 2025

Endewearde made its presence felt at the archery range this Pennsic. From the Champions events the the populace war points to the novelty shoots.

Godric of Hamtun captained the East contingent of the first ever Heroic Archery Champions team. 5 of the top Eastern archers alongside 5 of the best of the Mid Realm faced of against 10 of the best from the rest of the known world, mostly but not exclusively from Atlantia. The two teams faced off in 10 head to head shots. Though the Known World bested the East Mid alliance 9 to 1 each round was incredibly close with the East/Mid champion no more than one target behind their Known World counterpart. A lot of fun was had by all and there is a lot of excitement on how the team and the shoot can be even better next year. It is likely that a Heroic Archery Champions event will become a staple of Pennsic going forward.

Godric of Hamtun also had an excellent showing as part of the 40 man Archery Champion team with one of the higher individual scores of the day. Most importantly Godric came out ahead in his on going rivalry with Peter the Red.

Njall Godreksson wore the Endeweardean Bracers proudly at the Known World Baronial Archery Shoot. Score in the top 10 of the handbow division.

The Populace Shoot added a 4th shoot this year, a friend foe shoot, along side the traditional Clout, Castle Window, and Loitering Soldier. Endeweardean archers contributing 4% of the 15,169 points the East-Mid Alliance collected to win the war points.

Njall Godreksson scored a total of 145
Isabella Altoviti scored a total of 131
Brita Svensdottir scored a total of 111
Sylvia du Vey only had time to shoot half of the populous shoots coming away with a total score of 68

Lastly at Ullr’s Games Archery Challenge; Njall Godreksson, Isabella Altoviti, and Godric of Hamtun participated in the 10 station novelty roving range. Njall took the high score at one of the moving target shoots, shooting at a motorized pin wheel. Beyond the fun day of shooting Ullr’s Games provided a lot of inspiration and pictures of cool new shoots that will likely come to Endeweardean practices and events in the near future.
