We welcome the public to visit our medieval village at the Maine Celtic Celebration.
Join members of the The Society for Creative Anachronism an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our “Known World” consists of 20 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.
Steamboat Landing has over 800 feet of shoreline frontage, a gazebo, the Harbor Walk. Steamboat Landing will host a mini medieval village with displays of arts and sciences from the Middle Ages. Camping is available for members of the SCA on the waterfront for the entire weekend.
